Baskin-Robbins is part of the Dunkin' Brands, Inc. family of companies, which includes Dunkin' Donuts and Togo's. As a Dunkin' contractor, Amiano Construction is certified for Dunkin' brands including Dunkin' Donuts, Baskin-Robbins, and Togo's renovation projects. The project described here is one of the 5,600 retail shops that make Baskin-Robbins the world's largest chain of ice cream specialty shops.
Amiano Construction worked around Baskin-Robbins' schedule to minimize loss of retail revenue during the renovation. The crew met at 4am to start work in Brooklyn by 5 to work through morning hours, when traffic was lightest. Aside from a 1 hour opening delay, the store was able to remain open throughout the renovation.
